Westerly Morris Men's Past Public Events in 2022
- Vernal Equinox on Lantern Hill - Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Dawn (6:50 AM)
We had our biggest turnout in years! There were 3 musicians up top (4 below), 7 WMM dancers, and 2 Mystic Garland dancers. Including the revelers, over 110 people were counted. The actual Vernal Equinox occurred at 11:33 AM EDT that day. The left photo, courtesy of The Westerly Sun, shows 5 WMM + Katrina Bercaw of MG performing on the cliff top. The other photo shows the 4 musicians playing for the road show later. The musicians (L to R) are Becky Noreen, A.J. Wright, Mayada Wadsworth, and Squire Peter Leibert. - May Day at Connecticut College, New London, CT

in Westerly, RI - Saturday, June 18, 2022.
Show started at 6 PM, we were on at 6:40 PM.
Here is the full report from Allen Lawton, when asked how it went:
"Fabulous!! We had 7- Tim, Alex, Lou, Scott, Ian, Hal and me, so we were able to switch off some dances. Got there in time for food before the Chorus got in line, had time to run thru dances, and were ready when called. The earlier forecasts had said that it would be a good evening, rain not coming in until mid nite or so, but then it got cloudier, cooler, breeze picked up, one of the coolest evenings we've had, so glad I brought both sweatshirt and coat! Everyone was huddled around the weather apps on their phones, rain protocol was in play as it looked like it could get here sooner, so everything was moved up. We went on about as scheduled (6:40-55), we were fine, no one tripped, fell, or big stuff, and small things were easily covered, so we looked good! Westerly Sun online has a photo gallery of everyone, I think, but just the Chorus was on the front page of the print edition. Then most of the Men left, and just Peter (and Jane and young Peter) and I stayed for the whole show. Show itself was started early, so Chorus was singing by 7:40, and they cut the intermission in half, or more, so fireworks went off by 8:45, and we were gathering up to leave around 9. For a little while, it looked like the rain was coming, so they skipped a piece in the second half, but then the front stalled, so there was time to do the piece after all, and it all got in! A bit rushed, but it all went well! They have posted pix on their page, as well as individuals on their FB pages as well. A few drops on the windshield as I got home, but the rain did hold off until after mid nite, so it went well. And that's the way it was!! Cheers, all!!🍻🎵😁" - Guy Fawkes Bonfire Night at Misquamicut Beach in Westerly, RI - 7:00 PM, Saturday, October 1, 2022
